• I started off by using my red, orange, white, and green oil pastel to do my contour drawing while measuring my live model with the different length pastels. For this drawing, I really focused on composition and so decided to close up on my live model's arm. However, if I had another chance I would want to improve on reducing the negative space, detail of the finger, and use yellow, or a color in between red and orange, to give more color variation as for right now it is very heavy with red.
