Semester 1 Reflection
What did you learn about your U.S government topic?
I realized that Puerto Rico is a U.S territory and whether it should become a state or not is a very big issue. Puerto Rico will gain a lot if it becomes a state for they will have more job opportunities instead of being in poverty in their current state. The government will also help them reduce their debt and send help such as federal aid in natural disasters, etc, but if Puerto Rico becomes a state Puerto Ricans fear they will lose their culture, language, and independence.
What questions do you still have about it?
What hassle will the U.S have to deal with such as changing the flag if Puerto Rico becomes a state?
What is a goal you would like to set yourself?
I will like to work on my vocabulary to enhance my writing.
